Potzdam in February

Hi all,

Going to Berlin for 4 complete day (and almoust a 1/2) and I was thinking on going to Potzdam on a day trip (on my own or with a tour company) I have checked several companies you mentioned here at TA and they dont have tours this time of the year.

Does that mean that for most people Potzdam is not a good program this time of the year? Ok it will be very cold the gardens maybe covered with snow and no flowers of course but there are stil the palaces....

What do you think: is Potzdam worth it in February or should I use the day better knowing Berlin? I could use the extra day in Berlin to %26quot;fit in%26quot; some museums .

i have been to potsdam twice in november, at similar weather conditions like february. it is still absolutely worth a day trip. i would recommend to go there!

If there is snow in Postdam the park will be winter wonderland! No reason to avoid.

Hi,

i just came form a 5-day trip to Berlin. I went to Potsdam also, while it was raining and to tell you the truth it wasn%26#39;t up to my expectations.... The major part of the sansouci park was muddy and the snow from the day before had become ice.... I%26#39;d suggest to take your decision while you are in Berlin. See what the weather looks like the same day and then decide what you%26#39;ll do. If the weather isn%26#39;t nice, the are a million other things to do!!! Have a great stay there!!

Oh, and don%26#39;t go there on Tuesday because the Neues Palais is closed.....
