We will be traveling from Berlin to Copenhagena and are wondering if it would be better to drive or fly. Driving will give us the opportunity to see the country, but what about crossing into Denmark and prices?

Hey ! Its better to take the fly -only 50 minutes. To drive its just on Tha Autobahn. The ferry its expensive with a car - around 100 Eu . The flight if you book early costs so litel, Petrol is so expensive as well . Findus 20

If this is a one way trip you also have to take into account the quite steep international drop off fees for a rental car.
Another option would be by train. Specials are available from EUR 39,00. You can book at earliest 89 days in advance.

Depends when you are flying. Airberlin has had specials at 29€ TXL-copenhagen. We%26#39;ve booked it at that price for August and will rent a car in DK to tour once we%26#39;ve done the Copenhagen sightseeing.
But that%26#39;s because our plan is to tour Denmark and southern Sweden this year. Obviously you could tour northern Germany and visit different places there first.
There are ferries from northern Germany to Denmark and also to Trelleborg in southern Sweden (a short drive from there to Copenhagen)

Thanks for the great info. I think we%26#39;ve ruled out renting a car and driving to Copenhagen. We will rent the car when we get there.
