Hi all ,
I am from India and presently with a multientry B1/B2 visa valid till march,09. Now i have overstayed 8 months from the time the POE officer stamped departure date. Now he has stamped the departure date both on the I-94 and on the passport page on which he stapled the I-94.
I am planning to leave for India as soon as possible ...
My queries are as follows :
a) do the airline staff create any problem with the overstay?
b) Wd i have any problem with the overstay if i want to go through Frankfurt to India ?? wd i need a transit visa if i dont want to go out of the international airport ( as i assume , i wd get the plane to india from the same area as i came from usa to frankfurt )
Pls help ...i wd have to book my flight in the same way.
Thanks

I frankly don%26#39;t understand your problem. What do the US immigrations laws and regulations have to do with a transit in Germany at Frankfurt Airport? Moreover, such questions concerning visa policy don%26#39;t belong to a traveler%26#39;s forum as it is just too serious and sensitive. Contact the embassy of Germany in order to receive advice on visa necessity while only in transit...

yes but of course german laws has to do something with it ...i am sure someone here has gone through frankfurt as with same situation as mine... so i am expecting some information here. Why do you think this is too serious and sensitive. As i said my priginal multientry visa is valid till march but i overstayed by 8 months from the time the port of entry officer stamped as departure date during usa entry. so i have to knbow that...shd i post this in any other section ??
