Dachau to Allianz

I am planning on going to Dachau in the morning this May, and then on to Allianz to see a TSV 1860 game. I looked at the subway map and it looks like I would have to go all the way back to the Hauptbahnhof to connect. Is that the case? How long of a trip is this? I will have the XXL ticket from traveling out to Munich, so I can use this, I just don%26#39;t know the direct route. Thanks.

Yes. This is at least the fastest route as the faster means of transport (S-Bahn and U-Bahn) are bundled at the city centre.

You will have to go through the Hauptbahnhof, but you will need to catch the U-bahn U-6 at Marienplatz to get to Allianz Arena. From the Hauptbahnhof you can catch any of the S-Bahns that go through Marienplatz. See the plan at.. mvv-muenchen.de/web4archiv/objects/download/…

Small screw up on the last post...Take the S-2 from Dachau direct to Marienplatz and then change to the U-6 (Direction - Garching) to Allianz Arena. There is no need to get off of the S-2 at the Hauptbahnhof.
