Bayern Nacht (Night) Ticket--valid on weekends???

Hi. I am hoping to use a Bayern Night Ticket to get to the airport, but I am unsure if it is valid on weekends. Anyone used one on the weekend before? Thanks!

The Bayern-Ticket Nacht is valid one night

Su-Th: from 6pm till 6am next day

Fr,Sa: from 6pm till 7am next day

If you stay in or around Munich (thus inside the MVV network) a MVV day ticket will be the better deal. They are valid from the time of validation (stamping) till 6am next day.

I was on the MVV site today and no longer saw the Bayern ticket available. Am I missing something?

MVV is the local public transport network of the Greater Munich Area.

Bayern-Ticket Nacht (and other variants) is an offer by the state Bavaria. Valid for all of Bavaria, thus including the MVV area.
