Hotel in Nicer part of Hamburg

My Husband and I are planning to spend two nights in Hamburg on our way to Luneburg. I have been looking for hotel accommodation but have found many I have looked at mention being in a seady area with lots of sex shops. I am no prude but I know our friends would be very uncomfortable in this sort of area.

We will be arriving by train from Dusseldorf and will not have a car. Can anyone recommend a nice area to stay close to public transport and even better still a Hotel or Pension under $150 euro%26#39;s. per night.

Any help would be appreciated.
