Red Light

Is there a decent red light district in Berlin ??

|||

Isn%26#39;t the term %26quot;a decent red light district%26quot; contradictory?

I don%26#39;t know of any area where there is a concentration of such places, it is rather all over the place. In any case, the Berlin Tourism Office might be the right place to find out:

Lylou, Glad you spotted the irony. Thanks for the tip.

When in Berlin buy the BZ or Berliner Zeitung (maybe mispelled) in the paper you will find maybe a hundred or so adds...maybe more..usually with hours some with prices and addresses..usually a phone number..my experience has been many speak english well enough.

We were in a bar talking with some Berliners and during the conversation said area came up, they said there was such an area, but stressed that it was not %26quot;like Amsterdam%26quot; and that you better be loaded if you go there because your looking at high prices. However I don%26#39;t know where it is. But if thats all your looking for I would say go somewhere else because Berlin is a city that has so much more to offer than one seedy strasse!

I was out last night doing a pub crawl tour.

As I was getting to the first club, I%26#39;ve notice that there were too many %26quot;social service providers%26quot; on the street, plus a handfull inside the clubs.

Take the S-Bahn to Oranienburg Street.
