What is Berlin like for walking ie is it flat

hoping to visit sometime this year but I don%26#39;t walk too good. Is it a city with easy walking.

Damn flat.

It%26#39;s however a huge and widespread city. Thus a day ticket for public transport is nearly a must.

Yes Berlin is flat. Like the post above plenty of buses and a underground.

Confirmed, absolutely flat. But it%26#39;s also very large and spread, you%26#39;ll need to rely on public transportation. Trams and buses are a good alternative to subway if you prefer them.

Well not absolutely flat, as there%26#39;s a bit of a climb up to the area round the Zionskirche on Mitte/Prenzlauer Berg border. The church is built on the highest natural point in Berlin (eg Veteranenstrasse is fairly steep).

But as mentioned the problem in Berlin isn%26#39;t the hills, it%26#39;s the distances between things, so a day ticket to hop on and off public transport is what you need.
