We are in Friedrichshafen for a day in March. We are in our 50%26#39;s and like history, walking, scenery etc. What would you recommend doing? We are flying out from here to London. How far is the train station from the airport? What is the cheapest way to get to the airport?
Thank you!

I don%26#39;t find Friedrichshafen a particularly nice or scenic town. There are a lot nicer towns with beautiful old towns along Lake Constance worth seeing. 2 of the closest would be Lindau and Meersburg (opposite directions from Friedrichshafen) which you can reach easily by train within about 30-45 min.

I agree with Holidaytravelfan. Websites for these places are: Meersburg, the loveliest town on Lake Constance with Germany%26#39;s oldest castle- www.meersburg.de , and Lindau www.lindau.de .
