On August 2, 2008 through email I placed a reservation for 3 rooms at the Romsicher Kaiser Hotel in Trier. This week I am trying to confirm all hotel reservations for our trip in March. This particular hotel is not responding to email. I looked up the website online and it is no longer active. When I search for the hotel, a website of %26quot;Friedrich Hotels%26quot; comes up. Has anyone stayed at this hotel recently or visited Trier recently and can tell me the status of this hotel? Our reservation is for March 25-26, 2009. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I went to the hotel.de website and punched in your dates and the hotel pops up. So, it looks like they are still in business.
If you have any problems at the hotel, you are very close to the tourist office and they book rooms. I%26#39;ve used the tourist offices in Germany many times to get rooms and never been disappointed.

The Friedrich Hotels page (http://www.friedrich-hotels.de/) that comes up as first hit in Google has two buttons - Römischer Kaiser and Altstadthotel, so these are the two hotels they own. Where is the problem?
The email address is info(at)friedrich-hotels.de

I stayed at this hotel last summer. Looks like they might have a new owner, but the website does look like they%26#39;re still in business. It is a wonderful hotel and I usually stay there each time I am in Trier. Good luck.

Last time I was in Trier, we stayed at the Altstadt and dined across the street at the Roemische Kaiser%26#39;s restaurant for an excellent evening meal in lovely surroundings.
