2 days in Munich

Hi all,

I%26#39;m planning a trip to Europe. I%26#39;ll be arriving in Munich in the late afternoon. But I%26#39;ll be spending two full days in Munich. I have 2 questions regarding this.

1. Will Munich be enough to keep me busy for 2 days or can I squeeze in a side trip to a neighboring city...maybe the Black Forest?

2. Is the area around the Munich HFB main train station generally safe? I plan on staying at a hostel close to there. I will be taking an early morning train from Munich to Paris.

Munich has enough to keep you busy for 2 days .

If you want a side trip , Black Forset is too far , but Neuschwanstein and Garmisch is possible

Munich is a generally safe town

If you want to visit the Black Forest ( www.schwarzwald-tourismus.info ), do it on the way to Paris. It won%26#39;t be too far out of your way.
