Fussen to Rothenburg during christmas

Hi

How long does it takes to travel from fussen to rothenburg? I will be going this dec 09, heard that rothenburg is very nice. .. is 2 nights in fussen enough? one day to travel to the neuschwanstein castle and the next day to rothenburg?

Two days are enough in Fuessen to see the castles but it is a very scenic area if you wanted to stay longer.
