Which weekend to visit Munich

My husband and I are having trouble choosing dates for our Munich trip. We are looking into 3 different options: April 30 - May 4, May 7 - May 11, or June 4 - June 8.

With our schedules, it is probably better for us to go in June, but the flights are more expensive in June than in April or May, and we were worried that other things like hotels would be pricier in June. I did check on a couple hotels and it didn%26#39;t look like there was much of a difference but I wondered what you all thought. What is considered high season in Munich? Also, I%26#39;m assuming the weather would probably be pretty pleasant either way in May or June. Is this correct?

Any suggestions?

The %26quot;high%26quot; season for Western and Central Europe hotels is really May 1 thru September. Flights will be a bit higher starting June 1st for sure. Personally, I think you should just plan for the June 4th week, as the weather will be very nice, and that fits your schedule bertter. It may cost 200 - 300EUR or so more, but late April and Early May could be cold.. Munchen is a goregous walking city, and June would be much better.

Hotel prices go up in Munich if there are big events. Thus during bigger trade fairs and Oktoberfest.

July/August is actually low season if it comes to hotels. There are not enough more tourists coming in summer to make up for the business travelers not coming (no conferences, company holidays etc.).
