Germany%26#39;s largest Guggenmusik Festival, the International Guggenmusik Festival in Schwaebisch Gmuend, is the 14-15Feb this year. It is an excellent event with elaborately costumed (some even masked) bands from Germany, Switzerland and Liechtenstein playing their unique style of music in the old town of this city which lies about 50km east of Stuttgart. It%26#39;s a fun time for all and an event definitely worth attending. I think it%26#39;s unlikely, but maybe. There are only about 1/5 the number of participants, and many of them are fairly local. I imagine for the Narrenfest, some of the participants googled it, and of course, Trip Advisor forum replies are on it.
