My husband and I will be in Frankenberg for the day on the 14th. I thought since Frankfurt was on the way home, we could spend Valentine%26#39;s night in Frankfurt.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a romantic dinner /evening?
Thanks!

There are 6 Frankenbergs in Germany. Which is it? I%26#39;m asking because somehow I don%26#39;t associate Frankfurt with a romantic evening (sorry Frankfurters, I used to live there!) There should be a more romantic place somewhere between your Frankenberg and the FRA airport.

Frankenberg an der Eder, I hope we%26#39;re headed to the right one. I don%26#39;t necessarily connect Frankfurt and romance either, but I was kind of hoping that we could at least find a nice restaurant. We live in Stuttgart. If anyone has any other suggestions for somewhere lovely between Frankfurt and Stuttgart, I%26#39;d be more than pleased.
Thanks again :)

How does dinner at the top of the Main Tower sound? I think I would like to go there with my husband. What a fabulous view for dining!

I also wouldn%26#39;t mind a romantic evening at the Frankfurter Hof, Westin Hotel, or Intercontinental. Or, I would go up to Königstein to the Kempinski Hotel. It is so beautiful up there in the Taunus mountains.

Gosh, I completely forgot to add anything else, like what to do after dinner. I think an evening at the English Theatre would be nice, or over at the Jazz Keller, or something like that. Frankfurt is filled with a myriad of evening activities, but it depends on your taste.

Speyer has several good and romantic restaurants, plus it is a nice, low key city for a romantic walk. And don%26#39;t laugh, but there is quite a romantic restaurant associated with the Steigenberger Avance Hotel across from the Frankfurt airport. It is called the Untere Schweinstiege and is in an old hunting lodge. If you make a reservation, they most likely will give you a secluded table.
