My wife and I are arriving at the Munich airport this coming Monday and departing from the Munich airport the following Sunday.
It looks like buying two IsarCard weekly tickets that are good for up to 13 circles(39,30 euros apiece) from the MVV machine at the airport would allow us to use of all the S-Bahns and U-Bahns in the Munich area for those 7 days.
Does anyone have any experience with this type of ticket?
Thanks!

and trams and buses and regional trains (RB, RE, ALX, BOB) as long as you don%26#39;t travel beyond circle #13

Did you buy and use the IsarCard in Munich? Do you have any tips for traveling in and around Munich?
Thank you!

This should be one of the cheapest and most hassle-free options.

My wife and I each bought an IsarCard good for up to 13 circles when we arrived at the Munich airport on a Monday morning. Since we departed from Munich on the following Sunday this proved to be an ideal choice for us.
We found the S-Bahn, U-Bahn, tram and bus systems were all easy to use. I picked up a %26quot;Trips %26amp; Traffic in Munich%26quot; brochure at the entrance to the S-Bahn at the airport that was an excellent source of information on the S-Bahn, U-Bahn and tram routes. We never needed to use a cab during our entire stay.
Unlike when I previously visited Berlin, I came across no transit police checking to make certain that I had a valid transit ticket during my entire visit. Those who use the MVV on a regular basis can better assess whether my experience was atypical in this regard.

Ticket checks can happen also in Munich. The percentage of fare dodger is however higher in Berlin. Thus also more checks there.
