Oktoberfest during the week

I plan on visiting Munich the end of Sept. during Oktoberest, but the only days I%26#39;d be able to make it are weekdays. Now is this worth it, are there still alot of people there even during the week?

There are plenty of drunken tourists at al times during Oktoberfest. Make your hotel reservations now.

note to nobody in particular: I love Munich but avoid it like the plague during their two big annual bashes. :)

During the week is a good choice. At weekends Oktoberfest is totally overcrowded and the tents often close doors already at noon.

ok that actually sounds like a good thing then. Although I don%26#39;t want it to be completely dead, I also don%26#39;t want to be overcrowded by drunks haha

If you go there you%26#39;ll realize afterwards how strange this fear was. You%26#39;ll rather wonder how more people at the weekends is possible at all.

haha yea %26quot;dead%26quot; was a little bit of an exaggeration. I do realize it won%26#39;t be remotly quiet

After 4pm on the weekedays is no different than any time on Sat. or Sun. I always go during the week, and it is plenty crowded, fun, raucous!
