Bristol or Pure?

hi, guys,

I will be visiting Frankfurt in June for the Depeche Mode concert. I%26#39;ll be in town for 4 nights.

I am looking to stay at either the Bristol Hotel or the The Pure. I%26#39;ve heard good things about both of them. Obviously, The Pure is more expensive. Is it really worth the difference?

We will spend most of days out of the hotel, wandering the streets...

both have the same owners (happen to have a nodding acquaintance with them), so style-wise, not too much of a difference. Biggest difference might be the rooms and there sizes.

Why stay in such an expensive hotel? You can get a lot nicer hotel, with bigger rooms, for half the price. Not that the Pure and the Bristol aren%26#39;t nice, they are. I just think they are a little pricey. Have you looked at Hotel Monopol or the Concorde? Monopol is only 101 € per night, and often less than that, depending on when you are there, has a free mini-bar, free cake and coffee and juice in the lobby all day, free breakfast buffet and is a beautiful old hotel to boot. Call me odd, but if I was going to pay 200 € a night for a hotel room, it had better be REALLY special.

I got this great deal on expedia. Bristol is 203 eur for 4 nights, for 1 dbl room, while The Pure is 334 eur.

I am now leaning towards the Bristol...

oh, ok that is a pretty good deal. Yeah, I think the bristol looks nicer too.
