German twin pass and travel to from Copenhagen

We will be using Copenhagen as our gateway city for our trip to Germany. We will use a German Twin pass for all travel in Germany. My question is will the pass cover the leg from and to Copenhagen? Is there extra cost for the Denmark leg on German railways?

Thanks

Only the German part of this leg.

This is a bit tricky in this case as the border of the railways is here %26quot;mid of sea%26quot;. But you%26#39;ll have to pay for the Danish part. Approx. EUR 45.

See if you cannot get discounted specials (from EUR 29,00) for Copenhagen to your first stop in Germany (e.g. Lübeck or Hamburg). This will come cheaper than to pay the normal fare for the Danish part of the trip. And save you a pass day.
