Cosmos Tours

I would appreciate any feedback from people that may have traveled on Cosmos tours, escpecially in the Bavarian, Austria and Switzlerand areas. This regards quality, service and value for the money.

My family and i will NEVER AND I mean NEVER take a COSMOS tour again. If you want a good tour group take Trafalgar. They are a little more expensive but definitely worth knowing you are going to at least get the basic comforts met. When my family (two adults and two teenagers) went on a European 18 day trip 2 years ago), which included Austria and Switzerland, we were very disappointed by the hotels. Many were in the middle of nowhere so it was difficult if not impossible to do any sightseeing in the evening, a few had no airconditioning, a few had cots for beds, a feew had no hot water and a few had no locks on the windows. The most disgusting thing was when we went to eat breakfast in a hotel in which we were told to go down downstairs. This %26quot;downstairs%26quot; was actually a moldy musty basement in which most of us could not eat in. This happened even though the upstairs had a nice dining area with no even one guest. The tour guide was very nice but not very effective. We were traveling with a very nice bunch of people but everyone was disgusted by the end of the trip. DO NOT TAKE COSMOS.
