Stuttgart to Prague via Cologne

We are catching the train from Stuttgart to Cologne to then catch an Air Berlin flight to Prague.

Do we need to change to a local train to get to the airport once we arrive in Cologne from Stuttgart?

How long will we need to allow to get to the airport and check in?

Is there an easier way to get from Stuttgart to Prague?

Thanks

I imagine that you could just take the train there from Stuttgart without going out of the way to Cologne, www.bahn.de and then change to English. Alternatively, CSA Czech Airlines ( www.czechairlines.de ) has flights twice daily for most days from Stuttgart, and Lufthansa ( www.lufthansa.com ) has usually one flight a day, at least from my old timetable.

How much depends on the day of week you%26#39;re traveling. There offers for mini groups (2-5 persons) on regional trains you can take advantage of.
