Good morning from Greece,
I%26#39;d like to thank all of you for doing such a wonderful job in this forum. I just spent 5 days in Prague based on forums%26#39; tips and 9 out of 10 tips where excellent!!!
In a week we (4 persons - 2 couples) are setting off to Berlin. We%26#39;ll be staying at Hotel Agon Frankfurter Allee and I%26#39;d like some tips for this area because after the end of our daily program - and since the majority of the sights are situated in Mitte - we%26#39;ll end up in our hotel and i don%26#39;t think we%26#39;ll have the power to go again in Mitte for eating or drinking a beer. So, where in Friedrichschain can we find a nice place to do these things??
Thank you in advance,
Thanassis
p.s. We are looking for low budget restaurants, not fancy and expensive ones, and especially some places where we can see local people, i.e not so touristic.

There%26#39;s lots of nice little places to eat in this area. I like a restaurant called Meyman. Check out the menu at www.meyman-restaurant.de
For south east asian cuisine you might want to try try Le Coq D%26#39;or located at Boxhagener Str. 27, Friedrichshain, 10245 Berlin. Well priced Japanese and noodle dishes.
Frittiersalon is also recommended in most guidebooks for its organic homemade french fries, burgers and bratwurst. I didn%26#39;t have a chance to eat there myself because we ran out of time unfortunately. The address is Boxhagener Str. 104, 10245 Berlin.
If you are there at the weekend there are some decent places to have brunch including Euphoria and Cafe 100 Wasser. Lots of selection and costing no more than about 10 euros to eat as much you want.
Have a great time in Berlin.
