one week in Munich

I will be in Munich on a business trip for a week at the end of february, begining of March. I am thinking of staying at the four points by the sheraton. Has anyone stayed there? what in another good hotel to stay at that is centrally located? And what is there to do? I will be traveling alone. looking forward to hearing back.

I stayed at the Hotel Excelsior which was really well located (right by the train station) and down a long pedestrian road to the main square. It%26#39;s well rated here on TA. There is plenty to do and you%26#39;ll feel more than comfortable on your own. It%26#39;s a very pretty place to walk around. You%26#39;ll probably want to do a few touristy Bavarian things - a meal at the Hofbrauhaus is fun if they are doing a traditional show with music, there is a nice little Octoberfest museum. I really liked the Viktualienmarkt which is the outdoor food market (I think even in winter). There are also some very nice museums. I recommend looking at www.frommers.com for things to do. It%26#39;s a very nice city, hope you like beer - it%26#39;s the best here. You might want to repost this on another forum - you%26#39;re on the Berlin one so you may not get many responses.
