Lake Constance

Hi we are doing a ten night trip to Lake Constance in June/July 2009. We have booked a few extra nights but are cycling all the way round including up to visit the Rhine Falls. We would be interested to hear any other attractions or resturants/cafes which are worth a visit. We also would like to go into the mountains when we spend an extra night in either Lindau and.or Rocschauch/Arbon so any ideas of things which have worked well would be appreciated.

Also what is the weather generally like at ths time of year?

There is plenty to see and do around Lake Constance (Bodensee). A few websites: www.bodensee-tourismus.com , www.bodensee-tourismus.de , www.reichenau.de , www.tourismus-untersee.de . Meersburg ( www.meersburg.de ) is the loveliest town on the lake and has Germany%26#39;s oldest castle. There is a lovely church at Birnau, the garden island of Mainau, and also a reconstructed prehistoric fishing by Uhldingen. You can go up the Pfaender ( wwwpfaenderbahn.de ) in Austria or Saentis ( www.saentisbahn.de ) and a few others ( www.ebenalp.ch www.hoherkasten.ch www.kronberg.ch ) in Switzerland.

The weather should be pleasant, not too hot but also possibly a little on the cool side.

I see I%26#39;m not watching the countries for the websites, the Pfaender should be www.pfaenderbahn.at .
