have an unexpected six days off while in switzerland and was wondering where we should go? have seen a lot of france, switzerland, spain and italy already.. we have a car and would like to drive a loop up through germany (to munich?), to prague, and then back through austria. what would be the one or two best cities/towns/places for us to visit in germany or austria this time of year? thanks!

I would opt for a shorter route.
Switzerland - Munich - Salzburg - Berchtesgadener Land - German Alpine Road/German-Austrian border region - Switzerland

%26gt; we have a car
If this is a rental car you have to check if you can take it into the Czech Republic. This is often not allowed.
In the Czech Republic and in Austria you need a vignette (toll sticker) to use the autobahns (thus same as in Switzerland).
