Hotel Advice - which would you choose?

My husband and I are looking for a clean hotel for our trip, which will probably be June 4 - June 8. These are the hotels we are currently looking at:

Hotel Mark

Hotel Monaco

Hotel Royale

Hotel Jedermann

Hotel Mirabell

Kurpfalz Hotel

Hotel Uhland

This is what we are looking for in a hotel:

- something near the and close to the attractions in the city centre and transportation; also needs to be a safe location

- under $150 a night, though the cheaper the better

- includes breakfast (if we have to pay extra to have breakfast but it is still under $150 a night, that is fine too)

- internet (free is best!!)

- a safety deposit box or some kind of safe is definitely an added bonus!

Which of these would you choose if you were looking for the above-mentioned things? Also, if you have other recommendations, feel free to suggest others for us to consider!

Thanks:)

I would suggest either:

Mercure Hotel Muenchen Altstadt (3 star, very near Marienplatz=historic city centre)

120€ per night incl. breakfast

Hotterstrasse 4

80331 MUENCHEN

Hotel Novotel Muenchen City (4 star, 2 stops to Marienplatz)

90.50€ per night without breakfast

Hochstrasse 11

81669 MUENCHEN

Thanks for your suggestions! However, I checked the prices on the days we will be there and added up what it would cost to eat breakfast and they were both well over our budget of 150 USD. Do you know anything about the hotels I listed above?

Does anyone know which of these hotels is most centrally located? We want to be in the middle of things and able to get to the attractions easily...

We%26#39;ve stayed at Hotel Jedermann for 3 years in a row. Some people may be a little put off by the location since it is closer to the Hauptbahnhof than it is to Marienplatz. The tram, however, stops right outside the hotel for quick connections. The staff is extremely helpful. Breakfast is included, and it is a fantastic spread of food. We wouldn%26#39;t think of staying anywhere else in Munich.

Geeman - Thanks for your input. How long of a train ride is it from there to the middle of things?

Hotel Jedermann is about a 10 minute walk or 5 minute or so ride by Tram to the Hauptbahnhof. From the Hauptbahnhof you can either walk into the Marienplatz area 15-20 minutes or take one of the S-bahns direct. You could also stay on the Tram to Karlsplatz (Stachus) which puts you right near the pedestrian zone headed towards Marienplatz. We have never found that the location of the hotel was a problem. Also, the Augustiner Braustuben is right up the street as well. Also about a 10 minute walk.
